The Russian National Office, home to the largest Russian travel & tourism group in the UK, instructed Grosvenor Workspace Solutions to design and build their new London HQ in Notting Hill, conveniently located a stoneโ€™s throw from the Russian Embassy..!.

It was a very challenging project being an old-style 1970's building, with no raised floors, out of date and non-compliant mechanical; electrical systems and lighting and relatively low slab-to-slab heights, so involved a lot of liaising between the client; the landlord; the local building inspector and the Russian Embassy to ensure every single aspect of the work was detailed and accounted for, with the obvious sensitivities. Acting as the Design & Build main contractor and project managers, Grosvenor Workspace Solutions ensured that an exceptional result was achieved, delivering exactly what the client asked for โ€“ both on time and within budget.

The client was extremely happy with the finished product and so proud of their new HQ, that the Russian Ambassador held an official opening to honour the occasion.

Due to a glowing testimonial, Grosvenor Workspace Solutions were referred many times to other new clients and in particular, tendered for and won the project to carry out the Design & Build of the new HQ for the Spanish Tourist Office in Maryleboneโ€ฆ!

Are you ready to go back to the office?

The UK government has recently shared rules that will allow offices to reopen under new coronavirus guidelines. Right now, many offices are starting to re-open and put measures in place to keep its workforce safe. However, the impact of coronavirus could have a long-lasting effect on how and where people choose to work.

A new wave of an ongoing study conducted by Gensler (Research Institute), has found that only 12% of the US workforce want to work from home full-time with the majority of the workforce stating that they are willing to return to work but with critical changes. The research found that people required a combination of more space, more cleaning, and stricter sick policies in order to feel safe.

Major US pharmaceutical company, BioMarin, that engages in the research, development, production, and sale of pharmaceutical products throughout the world, instructed Grosvenor Workspace Solutions again to design their new office space, on of many repeat-business clients.

Having successfully carried out the entire Design & Build of BioMarinโ€™s previous offices in Shaftesbury Avenue, they were excited to work with us on their new state of the art new office in Central London. The new workspace has all the amenities expected in a modern-day office and were delighted with the finished product, especially as we worked autonomously dealing directly with their Irish European HQ. They just left everything to our professional team, with just monthly on-site project meetings.

They loved our proactive approach and technical expertise and were particularly pleased with the way we sorted out the sophisticated existing Denco air handling air con units in conjunction with then re-balancing the entire 120,000sqft building system out-of-hours. Their landlord, CBRE, also gave praise on our excellent and professional approach to this complicated task.
